About the Tustin Scorpions

The Scorpions are a club baseball team that compete in youth baseball tournaments, and also play CCYB (a youth baseball fall ball league for club teams). The team is based out of the city of Tustin.

The Scorpions team motto is "Always Compete". Players are trained to compete for their positions, and playing time. However, the coaches main focus is to develop our players to grow as baseball players and young men.

Scorpion players learn from the best with coaches like Tony Zuniga, who played in the MLB and is also the current hitting & fielding coach at Orange Lutheran High Schools varsity baseball team.

Our pitching coach Erasmo Ramirez, who played 11 years of pro baseball including the last 3 years with Texas Rangers, will conduct pitching & throwing clinics that help teach our players the proper mechanics on how to warm up, stretch, play long toss, and learn how to pitch the same way he teaches his high school varsity team.

The Scorpions will play CCYB on Sunday's at our home field, Tustin Sports Park, usually around 1:30 - 4:30 pm three weeks out of the month, and may play one tournament per month. Our Sunday late start allows our families to spend family time, attend church and enjoy some time off.

We believe having great families, players and coaches is a recipe for great baseball. It's the Scorpion way!
